1. Using BizAssist POS

By creating an account, accepting an invitation, starting a trial, purchasing a plan, or using BizAssist POS, you agree to these Terms and the BizAssist POS Privacy and Data Policy. You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for any business you manage in the app.

If BizAssist Restaurant Ops is active, its separate Terms and Privacy and Data Policy also apply to that module.

2. Accounts and Access

Keep account details accurate and protect passwords, verification codes, and devices. Business owners and authorized administrators control invitations, roles, and access. Use only the accounts, businesses, and features you are authorized to use, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Plans, Trials, and Billing

  • The price, billing period, trial, renewal, and included features shown before purchase apply to that purchase.
  • Subscriptions may renew automatically until canceled through the app store or billing method used to purchase them.
  • Canceling stops future renewal but does not delete the account. Refunds follow applicable law and the rules of the app store or payment provider.

4. Business Use and Responsibilities

BizAssist POS helps manage catalogs, inventory, customers, sales, tender records, receipts, refunds, cash activity, and reports. You are responsible for prices, taxes, permissions, receipts, business records, legal compliance, and reviewing information before relying on it.

BizAssist POS is not accounting, tax, payroll, legal, or regulatory advice and does not claim to be a government-certified fiscal or invoicing system. Unless a specific payment integration says otherwise, the app records payment information you enter but does not move or settle customer funds.

5. Business Data

You keep ownership of business data entered in BizAssist POS. You allow the app to host, process, back up, transmit, and display that data as needed to provide, secure, and support the service and comply with law.

Only collect customer and staff information you are allowed to use. Limit access by role, keep records accurate, and do not place passwords, full payment-card details, government credentials, or unnecessary sensitive information in notes or other free-text fields.

6. Acceptable Use

  • Do not use the service for fraud, unlawful activity, deceptive sales, discrimination, or infringement of another person's rights.
  • Do not bypass access controls, disrupt the service, introduce malicious code, probe for vulnerabilities without permission, or use another person's access.
  • Do not upload unlawful content or falsify business, sale, inventory, customer, or staff records.

7. Availability and Ending Access

Features may change and service may be interrupted by maintenance, connectivity, device problems, app-store action, security events, or third-party outages. Keep practical backup procedures for important business operations.

Access may be limited or suspended for nonpayment, misuse, security risk, legal requirements, or material harm. You may stop using the service and cancel renewal at any time. Account deletion and retained records are explained in the Privacy and Data Policy.

8. Responsibility and Contact

The service is provided as available. To the extent allowed by law, BizAssist POS does not guarantee uninterrupted service or the accuracy of merchant-entered data and is not responsible for indirect or consequential business losses. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be limited.

Questions or requests may be sent to bizassistcare@gmail.com. We may verify the requester before acting on an account, business, or privacy request.
